Homes and buildings equipped with cast iron radiators heated by steam or hot water can improve the heating efficiency of these systems by installing Radiator Covers .

A radiator that is left exposed allows the produced heat to travel quickly toward the ceiling, causing the Living Zone of the room to maintain a lower temperature. Radiator Covers have a specially designed front grille. The grille provides efficient heating by redirecting warm heat into the living area of a room, rather than causing the warm air to rise rapidly to the ceiling directly above the radiator.

A temperature increase of four to five degrees at waist level can be experienced in a room equipped with an enclosed radiator when compared to the same room without a radiator enclosure.

How To Measure for a Radiator Cover

LENGTH: Measure beyond the valves and pipes on both ends and add a minimum of one inch. Choose one of the following lengths that best fits your requirements.

14", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42",48", 54", 60", 66", 72", 78", 84", 90", 96"

HEIGHT: Measure from the floor up to the top of your radiator and add a minimum of one inch. Select one of the following standard heights that most closely fits.

22", 25", 28", 33", 40"

DEPTH:Measure from back to front and leave ample room. Select the best standard depth

6", 8", 10", 12"

NOTE: All three measurements MUST BE LARGER than the radiator in order to fit over it. Be sure to include all valves and pipes.

Radiator Enclosures have a removable top cover for easy access to valves and to facilitate cleaning. Top cover is approximately 3/4" wider and deeper than the nominal cabinet size shown as standard.
